- Zeeland West Dux JV got on the board in the first inning when Joe Steele doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
- Zeeland West Dux JV notched three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Terrick Dejonge and Steele and a double by Cam Schuessler.
- Dejonge got the win for Zeeland West Dux JV. He surrendered one run on three hits over six innings, striking out eight. Steele threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Steele recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Zeeland West Dux JV.
