ZEELAND EAST HIGH SCHOOL: 5
Zeeland West Dux JV took the lead late and defeated Zeeland East 6-5 on Tuesday. The game was tied at four with Zeeland East batting in the top of the fifth when Huizenga drew a walk, scoring one run. Zeeland West Dux JV earned the victory despite allowing Zeeland East to score three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Zeeland East was led by Wilson, Lynema, and Huizenga, all driving in runs in the inning. Jake Kender walked it off in the bottom of the 7th for a clutch victory.
