Zeeland West Dux JV took the lead late in the game in an 11-9 victory over Byron Center High on Tuesday. The game was tied at nine with Zeeland West Dux JV batting in the bottom of the fifth when Caleb Smith grounded out, scoring one run.
Byron Center High scored eight runs in the fifth inning, but Zeeland West Dux JV still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Byron Center High came thanks to singles by Matt Myers, Damon Heyboer, Zach Frasher, and Kolten Silvernail and an error on a ball put in play by Niko Babinec.
