Zeeland West Dux JV defeated Hamilton High School 5-1 on Tuesday.
Zeeland West Dux JV got on the board in the first inning. Whit Lewis drove in one when he singled.
Caleb Smith led the Zeeland West Dux JV to victory on the mound. He lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out one and walking one.
Victor Vigil took the loss for Hamilton High School. He allowed eight hits and five runs over six and a third innings, striking out five.
Jack Aalderink, Austin Gross, Austin Atwood, Travis Vredeveld, Nielsen O'Brien, Lewis, Jake Overzet, and Smith all had one hit to lead Zeeland West Dux JV. Zeeland West Dux JV didn't commit a single error in the field. Atwood had the most chances in the field with six.
