The Dux hosted Mona Shores on Wednesday, in a match that would determine the regular-season conference championship.  The match started tightly contested with many flights going back and forth throughout the first set.  The Dux first point came at 2 doubles where Grant Bush and Simon Moore won (6-3) (6-1).  The match then quickly flipped with Mona winning three matches and taking a 3-1 lead, but the next three matches to come off the court went to the Dux.  Drew Schippers at 3 singles secured his match (6-0) (6-3), the 4 doubles team of Tyler Dykstra and Burke Stoel won their first set (6-1) and then won a back and forth 2nd set (6-4), and Ethan Haskill made a huge comeback, winning his match (7-5) (6-1) despite being down in the first set 4-1.  WIth the Dux securing 4 points it was up to the 1 doubles team of Nathan Kollen and Toby Reinardy to secure the win.  Losing the first set (4-6), they were able to rally and win the 2nd set (6-2) and didn't look back winning the 3rd and decisive set (6-0).  This is the Dux 1st regular season conference championship and is the result of a great deal of hard work.  Congratulations to Nathaniel McFall, Ryan Rasmussen, Drew Schippers, Ethan Haskill, Nathan Kollen, Toby Reinardy, Grant Bush, Simon Moore, Owen Quillan, Luke Henry, Tyler Dykstra, and Burke Stoel.

Also, a big shoutout to the junior varsity as they were able to secure the conference championship for the season, going undefeated against all conference opponents.  Go DUX!!
