UNION HIGH SCHOOL: 58
The Dux traveled to Union last night and fell by a score of 58-43. Zeeland West couldn't quite get things going throughout the night as they struggled to knock down shots. The Dux defense kept them in the game in the first half as they trailed 27-24 going into the break. The margin stayed tight through the third quarter with Dux cutting the lead to one, but Union always seemed to have a response when the Dux got it close hitting step back three after step back three in the third. The athleticism and size of Union were a big advantage on the boards all night which led to many putbacks and a 15 point win. Zeeland West drops to 8-9 on the year, but will be back in action on Tuesday night in a girl/boy doubleheader at East at 7:30.
