The great crowd at Zeeland West saw the  Dux play in their third game in a row this year that was decided by 5 points or less. Unfortunately, they are now 2-1.  Coopersville (3-0) pulled out a three point win 59-56.  It was a hard fought intense game with runs by both teams.  The Dux came out strong and held a 22-8 lead early in the second quarter, but Coopersville outscored the Dux 24-9 after that to lead by one, 32-31, at halftime.  Coopersville came out strong in the third quarter and took a 9 point lead, but the Dux battled back to tie the game going into the 4th quarter.  Coopersville never trailed in the fourth even though the Dux were able to tie it multiple times.  The Dux were never able to get over the hump and take the lead even though it was tied multiple times. West was able to get a good look at a three to finish the game, but it bounced off the rim and backboard.  Zeeland West turns around in less than 24 hours to play an undefeated Gull Lake team tomorrow in the SWAMP at 7:00 p.m.
