REETHS-PUFFER HIGH SCHOOL: 60
The Dux held on to win on Tuesday night over Reeths-Puffer in a tight one, 61-60. Zeeland West was down four points going into the fourth quarter, but were able to fight there way to a victory with a number of hustle plays down the stretch. Carson Gulker led West in scoring with 24 points. Eli Steffen chipped in 13 points with eight of those coming in the fourth quarter. Evan Eding, Tanner Thompson, Travis Vredeveld also knocked down threes for the Dux. The 19-20 Zeeland West Dux finished the regular season with a 13-7 record overall and an 8-4 in conference which put them in a tie for second. Monday night, March 9, West will travel to Hudsonville for a rematch of the first round of districts from a year ago. The game will be played at 7:00 p.m. in Hudsonville.
