Boys Water Polo Falls to Jenison

Zeeland Varsity Boys Water Polo lost 14-7 to Jenison/Grandville Saturday, October 26 at the Zeeland Natatorium.
Zeeland played a close game in the first half. However, they fell behind in the second half and ended with a tough loss.
Coach Zac Geschwendt said, “That was a tough game but we still have next week.”
Zeeland’s 7 goals came from 7 different players! Boys from each grade scored and contributed to the final score.
Soph. Andrew Skaggs said, “The first quarter we played them pretty tight, we started to die out in the third quarter, and the fourth quarter ended up being more of a JV game which was fun for those kids to get some playing time.”
