Junior Varsity vs Holland High School Loss The Dux suffered a tough loss to a very talented and skilled Holland team, 0-3 - a huge improvement from the 0-6 drubbing the first time they met. The Dux jumped on the Dutch early, earning two high quality scoring chances in the opening 15 minutes. Unfortunately, both shots found the crossbar and not the back of the net. Holland led 1-0 at half. Defensively, the Dux did a great job of slowing down and frustrating Holland's attack throughout the match. Our midfield played one our most complete match of the season, connecting and controlling the tempo for large periods of time. Offensively, we had 3-4 really good scoring chances but were a bit unlucky in the end.
