Zeeland West Varsity Volleyball bounces back with win against Spring Lake. Zeeland West defeated Spring Lake last night on the Dux home court in 5 sets. (19-25, 25-14, 25-18, 17-25, 15-5) The Dux were led by Molly Settlemyre who had 18 kills and hit a whopping .452 percentage on the evening. Senior middle Hannah VanderZwaag added 10 kills while senior outside hitters Sadie Kragt and Brielle Carlson added 10 and 9 kills respectively. Setter Breslin Schippers had 25 assists and 5 aces on the night. The Dux moved their record to 7-7 on the season and 2-3 in conference play. The next matches will be on Saturday, September 26th at East Grand Grapids.
