Varsity vs Hamilton High School Zeeland West lost a heartbreaker on Tuesday night at Hamilton, 25-23, 17-25, 25-19, 24-26, 7-15. The Dux looked poised for the win in the 4th set, but struggled to close it out in the set and eventually fell in 5 sets. Brielle Carlson led the Dux with 12 kills and 3 aces. Molly Settlemyre added 9 kills and Sadie Kragt had 8 kills. Breslin Schippers set the table most of the night finishing with 19 assists, 4 ikills and 1 ace. Leah McLaren was huge off the bench with 4 aces. The Dux are now 6-7 and 1-3 in conference play. Next up is a home match on Thursday with Spring Lake.
