On Saturday, the Dux JV soccer team traveled to Wayland for a nonconference match. Despite outpossessing, outplaying, and outshooting the Wildcats in the first half, the Dux found themselves down 0-1 after the first half. Good defending and solid midfield play limited Wayland's chances throughout the match, but the Dux attack was unable to find the back of the net. "It was a frustrating loss because we did most things right, but our last action, be it a pass or shot in the attacking third, was not good enough to net the equalizer. We look forward to bouncing back after a tough week with 2 close losses. We are really close to experiencing success, and I know our boys will continue to fight and play hard."
