The Dux varsity soccer team opened the OK Green Conference Tournament with a solid 8-0 win over Muskegon Tuesday night. Marissa Ybarra led a balanced Dux offense with 2 goals. Abby Winn, Amely Molina, Anna Miller, Kayla Bosch, Amarra Blattner and Izzy Schoenberg each scored a goal. Molina, Winn, Schoenberg, Bosch, Miller and Abby Gruppen each had an assist.  Grace Caywood and Samarrah Arendsen earned the shutout between the pipes.

"Tonight was a total team effort with everyone staying involved and playing together. We were able to score a variety of different ways and played very unselfishly, sharing the ball and looking for quality opportunities. Defensively, we didn't allow a shot on goal. Really proud of the energy and attention to detail our girls brought off of the bench tonight, they really stepped up the energy and intensity throughout the match."

The Dux will host Zeeland East on Thursday in the Conference Tournament semi-finals.
