The Dux JV soccer team lost their first OK Green conference match to a strong and physical Mona Shores squad, 0-4. Despite generating some quality chances in the first half, the potent Dux attack struggled in the final third and was unable to find the back of the net. 

"Offensively, our timing was a bit off tonight and we were a bit stagnant and reactive. While we did possess and move the ball well for long stretches throughout the match, we just weren't very efficient in the final third. Defensively, we made some uncharacteristic and untimely errors which led to goals for Mona Shores. Credit Mona's physicality and strength, defense and solid goal keeping throughout the game. We had some quality chances - missed a penalty kick, a beautiful head goal called back because of an offsides call... This is a match we will learn from and become better as a result."

The Dux fall to 3-1 on the season.
