The Dux had a big fourth inning, sending twelve batters to the plate and scoring nine runs to finish the game 16-1 in conference play.
Emily Brands collected the win on the mound. She threw four innings allowing one run on two hits, striking out five, and walking two. "Emily was good on the mound. She was hitting her spots by putting the ball where they could put it in play for our defense. It was a smart outing for her."
Dux offense had twelve hits in the game. Leading the way was Taylor Zwagerman who went 3 for 3 with two singles and a triple. She and Morgan Patrick led with three RBIs. Elexia Fuentes, Jordyn Smeyers, and Carly Sleeman each had two hits in the game. Lily Brower, Patrick, and Alexa Brott each had a hit.
Dux improved their conference record to 7-0 and 17-3 overall.
