The Jenison/Zeeland Hockey team faced off against the Hudsonville Eagles on Saturday night at Griff's Georgetown.  Cade Elliot was in net for the hard fought contest.  The Eagles out shot the Wildcats and scored two goals in the first period to take an early lead.  There was no scoring in the second with many great saves by both goalies.  This led to a wild third period.  Jenison scored two goals in the first five minutes to tie it up.  The first goal was by Noah Sheldon with an assist by Jackson Bolthouse at even strength.  The second goal was on a power play and was scored by Mike Puruleski with assists by Brandon Veltema and Bolthouse.  The Eagles came back three minutes later with the go ahead goal.  The Wildcats would not give up.  Coach pulled Elliot and put out an extra skater for a final push.  With only 5 seconds left in regulation Jackson Bolthouse was able to get the puck in the net to tie it up (video).  The game went into overtime but neither team was able to score.
