Dux lost on the road against Kellogsville on Tuesday night.  The high paced game took the Dux a bit to get used to and they struggled to ever get into a rhythm offensively.  Some early fouls had some of the Dux players on the bench and brought Kellogsville to the line often.   

Dux were able to stay in the ball game from playing scrappy defense and getting some buckets off steals.  The Dux went into halftime up by 3 points.  

Kellogsville length and ability to get in the passing lanes made it tough for the Dux to get good looks inside.  In the 2nd half, Dux went 0-5 from 3 point and only 4/21 from the field.  Tally Martinez stepped up in the second half and knocked down some tough free throws to keep the Dux in the lead, but a foul from the Dux put Kellogsville back on the line where they knocked down the first free throw and got a put back to clench the lead.  The Dux had an opportunity out of the timeout to get a shot off but couldn't knock it down. 

Martinez led the Dux in scoring with 12points while Aaliyah Ybarra added 7.

The Dux fall to 1-2 for the season.  They will be back in action on Friday against Comstock Park
