The 7th grade boys lost a hard fought battle to Holland middle school yesterday 5-1. The lone goal for the Dux came off the foot of Stephen "rocket foot" Garrison for the Third, 1,2,3 game in a row !!! Way to go rocket foot Garrison. Great performances for the Dux came from Andrew Kraft, Landon Demint, Oliver Bouvier, and Ben Keuning and of course Carson "man tights" Hauch. Way to go Dux.

After a tough week last week, the 8th grade boys soccer team bounced back on Tuesday, earning a hard fought 2-1 win over Holland. The Dux would strike first as Sammy Salas scored on a breakaway to give the Dux a 1-0 lead in the first quarter. Holland would score the equalizer late in the first half to knot the score heading into halftime. 

The Dux used the wind to their advantage in the second half, pinning Holland in their own half a majority of the time. Tyler Dykstra played extremely tough in net for the Dux. The Dux would net the game winner about midway through the fourth quarter. After making an initial save off of a Holland shot, Dykstra sent a booming punt towards midfield, over the heads of everyone. Salas was the first to get the first touch and bury his second breakaway of the game. The Dux wrap up their season tonight against Black River.
