The JV girls water polo team went 2-0 on Friday night at the
abbreviated Jenison Two-in-One tournament. The team started with a
great win over the Hudsonville 11-9. After falling down two goals
early in the second half, the team rallied back to take a lead going
into the fourth quarter. In the second game, the team defeated
Rockford 16-4. It was the team's best performance this season, both
offensively and defensively.
Rylee Fowler and Chelsea Englesman led the team in goals, each with
eight. Rylee had a team high five assists as well. Madi Selles made
ten saves over the weekend including six in the game against Rockford.
The tournament has been cancelled tomorrow. The team will play again
on Tuesday in a rematch against Rockford.
