GAME SUMMARYZeeland Girls qualified 2nd out of 17 teams. They bowled 3 solid individual games and 4 excellent baker games to put themself into the 2nd seed of the top division. They bowled a tough Rockford team in the first round of the playoffs and found themself down 17 pins after the first baker game. They fought back and won by 2 pins. They then took on the top seed Mona Shores team in the semis. They again found themself 16 pins but again fought back and pulled away beating Mona Shores 352-315. In the Finals vs. Ludington the girls bowled great and never found themself behind. They beat Ludington 370-291. This is the girls 2nd tournament win of the season. Skylar Beverwyk and Alyssa Fortney were named to the All Tournament team. High games rolled by Skylar Beverwyk 222, 200 and Alyssa Fortney 201, 200. The Zeeland boys also qualified 2nd out of 24 strong teams. The boys had a strong individual game of 1023 led by Kyle Lambright's 277. The boys then had outstanding baker games of 185, 245, 233 and 197. The boys drew Kenowa Hills in the first round of the playoffs and lost by one pin as both teams rolled the ball very well. The score was 407-406. Kyle Lambright and Grant Bush made the All Tournament team. High games rolled by Kyle Lambright 277, 216, Nate Bruursema 215 Grant Bush 211, 200 and Zach Baum 210.
