With the game tied at two going into the bottom of the seventh, Jordyn Smeyers reached base on an error by beating out the throw. The Dux couldn't move the runner over with the bunt, and got to two outs with Smeyers still on first. Kenzie Siersma hit a single to move Smeyers to second. A past ball allowed both runners to advance, and then Elexia Fuentes hit a walk off single to win the game!

Emily Brands got the win on the mound. She threw 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, striking out 3 and walking 1. Emily had a strong outing and continues to improve and gain more confidence on the mound. She improved to    2-2 in conference play. Sydney Leonard pitched well for the Chix. She went seven innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits, striking out 5 and walking 3.

Dux offense was led by Siersma who went 3 for 3, with two doubles, a single, and an RBI. Fuentes had two hits and 3 RBIs. Lily Brower, Morgan Rush, and Taylor Zwagerman each added a hit for the Dux.

Dux finish conference play with a record of 8-4. They play Oakridge at home on Wednesday and celebrate their seniors.
